Early in my career, I had a variety of jobs including drafting, purchasing, and even childcare. While I excelled at the tasks I was given, nothing really felt like the right fit until 2011. It was then that I joined the Training Team as an Associate Trainer at my current employer. In my new position, I studied classroom facilitation and adult learning, and my efforts were recognized as I was quickly promoted to Trainer and then subsequently Sr. Trainer. 

During my time in front of the classroom, I looked forward to when I would have "free time" to work on our instructional materials. Eventually, my dream to focus full-time on instructional design came true when I accepted a position as an Instructional Designer in 2018.
